What are superstitions? The superstitions are irrational beliefs, where the people think that an object, action or circumstance can to influence the person. (Damisch et al., 2010). According Jahoda, this superstitions situations, can be appear in a specific moment, like study, work, interpersonal relationships, sports performance, etc. Now, I´m gonna tell you about the different superstitions around the world

Russia

  

Russia has a very particular superstition. In this country, people give flowers in odd numbers because they´re accustom to give flowers in pair numbers when they assist to a funeral. So for them, the flowers in a pair number are death synonyms. 

Gambia (Africa)

Here is a crocodile museum, where there is a pool and crocodiles live there. People think that if a women wants to be pregnant, she should be to take a bath in that pool because she would have more probability to get pregnant in future.

Egypt

We have listened a lot superstition about bride, but now, I´m gonna tell you about the superstitions that exist in Egypt about her. In this country, prick the bride's shoulder with a needle is considerate a good lucky situation. 

Africa (continent)

This is a very particular superstition, and I personally I have never listened about that. The superstition it's about that if you dream with fishes, someone close to you or you, are pregnant.
